How your Fund helps

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity is a national charity that supports families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness. Contactable 24-hours a day, our Family Support Workers maintain a sense of normality for the family by helping with hospital trips, taking siblings to school and in many cases providing care during the final stages of a child’s life.

About Forever There Tribute Funds

A Forever There Tribute Fund is a special fund established in the name of a loved one. Family and friends come together to raise money in their memory. You can set up a Forever There Tribute Fund at any time and there are lots of ways to grow it. Some choose to contribute on special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries, others set up a regular monthly donation or participate in sporting challenges and organise fundraising events.

Isla Holliday's Tribute Fund

"On 1 November 2012, my beloved daughter, Isla, died at the age of four and half years. We had fantastic support from Rainbow Trust and throughout Isla's life and death I could trust our Family Support Worker to be there to help us, whenever and however we needed her.

To celebrate Isla’s life and help other families like mine, I set up a tribute fund in her name. Team Isla consists of friends and family.  We have taken on numerous fundraising events through out the year which culminated in a fundraising ball on 1 November 2013 - the anniversary of the day Isla died.  A Forever There Tribute Fund is a wonderful way to celebrate her life and thank Rainbow Trust for all their support.

It’s so hard to move forward, but doing this for Rainbow Trust is helping me to focus on something positive and to help other families." Kelly Holliday, Isla’s mum.
